This summer proved to be a fun-filled and exciting time for everyone involved in the Ambassadors Soccer Camps USA experience. Over 1000 children signed up and participated in soccer camps across the country.

Hope Academy Selected as Finalist
Cape Town, November 30th, 2011 – South Africa’s first prison-based football academy has been nominated for a prestigious accolade from globally recognised sporting organisation Beyond Sport.
This is the second time that Ambassadors in Sport’s (AIS) Drakenstein Hope Academy has received a nomination for Beyond Sport’s Social Inclusion Award for having recognised and successfully harnessed the potential football has as a mechanism for social upliftment. Being selected, as a finalist is no small feat – of the 400 entries from 125 countries into the various categories of the Beyond Sport Awards, 38 finalists were chosen and only four of these are from South Africa, one of which is the Drakenstein Hope Academy. Billy from Ambassadors Thailand visited northern Japan with SEND missionaries to make ministerial assessments of the region. Ambassadors Thailand is partnering with SEND missionaries over the coming months and years in the relief efforts in northern Japan. In mid-June, Ambassadors Thailand staff will be helping to lead a team to northern Japan to aid in the relief efforts by providing children with soccer programs and assisting with manual labor in the continuing clean-up efforts.

In January of this year the Brazil Ambassadors tour team visited Chile where they played the Chilean National futsal team, held kids' clinics, and played a friendly in one of Chile's oldest prisons.
