Ambassadors in Sport Launches Partnerships in Soweto

Ambassadors in Sport has now officially launched their partnerships with the support of the Soweto Football Association.

Although AIS South Africa have worked from grassroots through to professional soccer, they have a particular passion to work with the millions of poor & marginalized in South Africa who can find hope & joy through the game of soccer.  The Soweto Football Association helps to facilitate unique relationships & partnerships for the community work AIS is involved with, such as working with Grace Bible Church in Soweto.

"We, as Soweto Football Association, are proud to be part of such a tool of football development. . .  Our partnership with Ambassadors in Sport has been wonderful because it has been growing.  We just had a coaching course (TREC) for five days which was a really wonderful and intensive experience for our coaches.  we also hosted an AIS ladies team from overseas who played a match here in Soweto which demonstrates that we cover both genders as Soweto Football Association.  We hope that this partnership will grow & that Ambassadors in Sport will also go to other Provinces & regions to make sure all children of South Africa receive this opportunity,"  explains Mr. Phil Mogodi from Soweto Football Association.
